• Project: Tidy it Thursday: My new Weekly & Monthly Cleaning Schedules with Free Printables!
• Difficulty rating (1=easiest, 5= way too hard!): 1 for making the cleaning schedules, and 4 to keep up with it on a weekly and monthly basis!
• Time: 10 minutes to customize the cleaning schedules and a lot more time to complete them 😉
• Would I do it again? yes! I really need schedules…for some reason I like to know I completed what I had set out for that day, even something as simple as cleaning! For me, it works a lot better to do a daily chore/task each day versus one day committed to cleaning the whole house. I’d rather have my Saturday and Sunday to play and do fun things with my girls!
• What I would do differently: nothing except I should have done this cute schedule sooner!
• Items used: Adorably cute printables from: Money Saving Mom and Blooming Homestead

day 120: organizational chaos/ spring cleaning/ deep clean your dishwasher!

  • Project: day 120: organizational chaos/ spring cleaning/ deep clean your dishwasher!
  • Difficulty rating (1=easiest, 5= way too hard!): 1 (just a bit time consuming, but not as long as the washing machine was to deep clean!)
  • Would I do it again? yes, it was really pretty simple, and probably should be done more often than I have, but hey, that’s the way it goes!
  • What I would do differently: nada 😉
  • Items used: “Place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains.”

  • Project: day 113: organizational chaos/ super easy and simple way to do a boring old spring cleaning chore! Use dryer sheets for your baseboards!
  • Difficulty rating (1=easiest, 5= way too hard!): 1. Really easy, it’s just time consuming to get it all done, plus who really wants to spend the afternoon cleaning baseboards!
  • Would I do it again? well we’ll see if it really “repels” the dust and dirt away like it said, but it seems like it should work well! I’ll let you know in a week or so!
  • What I would do differently: nothing 😉
  • Items used: I used 2 fabric softener dryer sheets on my Swiffer. For more details on why dryer sheets do this magic, read about this awesome idea from: http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/quick-cleaning-tip-keep-baseboards-cleaner-with-fabric-softner-165957
