• Project: day 63: crafty kiddo/ 20 questions to ask

every year on (or near) your child’s birthday!
• Difficulty rating (1=easiest, 5= way too hard!): 2 (we did about 3 different takes since Morgan was a touch distracted… wanted a sucker, wanted to do each thing I was asking her in the video, you name it 😉
• Would I do it again? I will definitely do this every year, unfortunately I didn’t think about this for Hayden at age 3, or Pinterest wasn’t available to spark my creativity, but hey, I’m staring now! I will be making an album/scrapbook with some photos from her birthday as well as these questions and answers, hopefully soon!
• What I would do differently: nothing that I can think of quite yet!! 😉
• Items used: flip video camera and my sweet little Morgan who just turned 3!
Until ipinterest tomorrow!

day 48: crafty kiddos/ minnie mouse birthday pin wheel garland/banner!

Standard

MY TAKE:

FROM PINTEREST:

1. Cut two strips of paper in equal size. 2. Accordion fold both. 3. Place both pieces together on the table, face up. Push them in, and turn them on their side to staple them in the middle. 4. Fan them back out, and secure their sides by taping them. Double sided tape works like a gem, and scrap book paper is super fun, as are music sheets, and pictures decorated by your little ones.

Difficulty rating (1=easiest, 5= way too hard!): 2
• Would I do it again? yes, it was pretty easy, very cute, and could easily be done for any holiday. There are so many great cardstocks out there that have great themes to theme: Halloween, Christmas, birthdays, you name it!
• What I would do differently: my DCWV paper was almost out, so I only could do one pink pin wheel! I will either take it out for Morgan’s birthday, or go buy some more pink to add into her Minnie Mouse theme!
• Items used: DCWV Glitter Cardstock pack (Michael’s), twine (Hobby Lobby), scissors, tape, stapler, and clothespins

until ipinterest tomorrow!

Project: day 47: get crafty/ kids party decoration idea/a year in photos, collage

• Would I do it again? yes! It’s a great way to commemorate your child’s past year in photos (or anyone for that matter). We did this for Morgan’s Minnie Mouse birthday party coming up, and I thought what better way to show what she has been doing for this past year, and how much she has grown. It hopefully should be pretty cute with all the fun Minnie Mouse decor!
• What I would do differently: get the photos in black and white!! I meant to but started uploading all of the photos and forgot to change them to black and white. Oh well, next time!
• Items used: instead of waiting to put them up on the day of the party (since we are not having the party at our house, but rather The Little Gym), I thought it would be better if I could make it ahead of time. So I just laid out legal size copy paper, stapled them together to for the number 3, ordered about 70 picture of Morgan all taken since she turned 2 last year until now (you can probably get away with using 40 or so, I didn’t use all of mine), taped the pictures with double sided tape to the paper, and voila! Now I can take it to the party and it will be ready to go!
until ipinterest tomorrow!
