Project: day 103: outdoors we will go/ super simple tip for growing your own green onions!

The next time you have green onions, don’t throw away the white ends. Simply submerge them in a glass of water and place them in a sunny window. Your onions will begin to grow almost immediately and can be harvested almost indefinitely ( supposedly.. I will repost and let you know!).

• Would I do it again? yes! We use green onions quite a bit, so it we are able to grow our own this easily, why not?!
• What I would do differently: nothing at all! I’ll update this post in about a month or so as soon as I see some growth/changes taking place 😉
• Items used: mason jar and green onions!

• Project: day 101: baking away/ homemade chocolate chip cookies/ absolutely the best!!!

• Difficulty rating (1=easiest, 5= way too hard!): 3
• Would I do it again? most definitely! These cookies were absolutely amazing! Loved the hint of salt and different textures of chocolate.
• What I would do differently: Well, as you can see I had the girls helping me, so the tiny pinch of salt at the end was done a bit overboard on a few of them, but other than that everything else tasted great!! Definitely chewy, chocolatey, moist…just the way a chocolate cookie should be!
