Project: day 103: outdoors we will go/ super simple tip for growing your own green onions!

The next time you have green onions, don’t throw away the white ends. Simply submerge them in a glass of water and place them in a sunny window. Your onions will begin to grow almost immediately and can be harvested almost indefinitely ( supposedly.. I will repost and let you know!).
• Difficulty rating (1=easiest, 5= way too hard!): 1
• Would I do it again? yes! We use green onions quite a bit, so it we are able to grow our own this easily, why not?!
• What I would do differently: nothing at all! I’ll update this post in about a month or so as soon as I see some growth/changes taking place 😉
• Items used: mason jar and green onions!

  • Project: day 84: organizational chaos/ 40 bags in 40 days challenge/ spring cleaning/lent, part 1
  • Difficulty rating (1=easiest, 5= way too hard!): 2, hard to part with a few things, but you can always get another one if you need to!
  • Would I do it again? yes, and hope to do this every year, if not every 6 months!
  • What I would do differently: nothing! This is a perfect activity/tradition for out with the old, in with the new. Spring is around the corner, we’re moving into a new house n a few weeks, and we really need to weed through some things. I’ll post a part 2 at the end of the 40 days (when we’re in out new house with less clutter!).
  • Items used: black Glad trash bags (easier to hide what you’re getting rid of, and less questioning 😉
  • 40 bags in 40 day free printable: http://sugartotdesigns.blogspot.com/2011/08/40-bags-in-40-days.html
