Project: day 83: baking away/ last minnie mouse party recipe: minnie cake-pops!
• Difficulty rating (1=easiest, 5= way too hard!): 3
• Would I do it again? yes, I love cake-pops! They take a bit of time, and a few causalities, but I will definitely be trying more of these cute things in the future!
• What I would do differently: nothing except do them for again for different seasons/holidays!
• Items used: recipe from: http://pattycakesbakery.blogspot.com/2010/10/minnie-mouse-birthday-party.html

cake-pop holder: styrofoam spray painted black, minnie mouse ribbon hot glued around the edges, so simple! 🙂

Until ipinterest tomorrow!

  • Would I do it again? yes, in fact I will be doing it again and again for each and every season! Halloween (candy corn), Easter (Jelly Beans), 4th of July (red, white, and blue M&M’s?), Turkey day (pumpkin candy corn?), Christmas ( red and green M&M’s?). Maybe I’ll come up with some better ideas, but it’s too easy and adorable not to do!
  • What I would do differently: nothing at all except to change it up each season!
  • Items used: large or small conversation hearts (Brach’s or Sweetheart’s work great!), pink tulips, small vase to hold flowers, and large vase to hold small vase as well as the candy 😉

Until ipinterest tomorrow!

  • Would I do it again? um, yea! It’s SO fun to see Hayden’s face in the morning when she’s looking for, and finds, her “Elfy”!!! We love the Elf on the Shelf in our house, maybe just the whole game of it all, but it’s definitely worth the time during the crazy month of December!
  • Items used: Elfy, our Elf on the Shelf, Christmas Candy, Tiffany Candy bowl, of course!

until ipinterest tomorrow!
